'Murmuration'
This original painting is from my first collection of work 'A Sense of Place'
Specific flocks of birds have unique and distinctive names depending on their bird type or related species. Starlings, together when in flight, in continuous motion as one, are known as a ‘Murmuration’.
These mesmerising flight patterns are a phenomenon and something that scientists are still trying to understand fully. A wild and wonderous thing.
