'An Fiach Dubh - The Raven’
This original drawing is from my first collection of work 'A Sense of Place'.
Ravens were a common feature within Celtic folklore and mythology. Largest of their crow family, these large black birds are famed for their intelligence and territorial tendencies. They were messengers to the Irish and Welsh Gods, and often associated with prophecy and battle.
